One of his most famous roles was playing Sheriff Leigh Brackett in the 1978 movie Halloween. He played this character again in sequels that came out in 1981 and 2021. His comeback in Halloween Kills, the third film in the series, was surprising and great.
Thinking back on what happened, Charles was thankful and said, “Most of the people are no longer alive, so I’m grateful I didn’t die, because they revived me.” He was very excited to play Sheriff Brackett again and was grateful for the chance to be in the series that had a big influence on his career.
