Ingredients
These Spinach Stuffed Pastries are a real treat. They work well as an appetizer, light lunch, or savory snack.
Two sheets of thawed puff pastry
2 cups of chopped, fresh spinach
1/2 cup ricotta
Half a cup of Parmesan cheese, grated
1 beaten egg (to make egg wash)
powdered garlic, measuring 1 teaspoon
Garnish with salt and pepper as desired.

Preparation
Get the Oven Ready:
Arrange parchment paper on a baking sheet and set the oven temperature to 400°F, or 200°C.
Warm the olive oil in a big skillet over medium heat.
After two or three minutes, add the chopped spinach and stir-fry until the spinach wilts.
Get it off the burner and give it a little time to cool.
Toss together the cooked spinach, ricotta, Parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl. Combine thoroughly.
Pastry Assembly:
Flour a board and roll out the puff pastry sheets.
Make sure you have 8 squares in total by cutting each page into 4 equal halves.
Scoop out some spinach and cheese and put it in the middle of each square.
Shape the dough into a square, rectangle, or triangle, then use a fork to crimp the edges.
Place the pastries on the baking sheet that has been preheated.
Put on the Egg Wash:
For a golden garnish, brush the beaten egg over the pastries’ tops.
Bake:
Puff the pastries and bake them until they become golden brown, around 15 to 20 minutes in a preheated oven.
Place the order:
Serve the pastries when they have cooled a little.
