I first had this in Hawaii and fell in love with it! It’s so easy to make and oh-so-delicious!

Ingredients:
– 2 cups frozen pineapple chunks
– 1/4 cup milk (can substitute with almond, soy, or coconut milk)
– 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
– 1/2 teaspoon lime juice
– 2 tablespoons sugar (or to taste, can substitute with honey)
– Pinch of salt
– 1 cup whipped cream (optional for a richer texture)
Directions:
1. Place the frozen pineapple chunks, milk, lemon juice, lime juice, sugar, and salt into a blender. If you’ve got little helpers in the kitchen, this is a fun step for them to participate in—they simply love to pop those pineapple chunks into the blender!
2. Blend the ingredients on high speed until smooth and creamy. You’re looking for that soft-serve consistency, a texture that’s sure to bring back those vacation-time feels.
3. If the mixture is too thick, you can add a little more milk. Just do it a tablespoon at a time to ensure you don’t lose the lovely thickness—it’s all about that perfect whip!
4. Pour the mixture into a large piping bag with a star tip. Twist the top, and gently squeeze the Pineapple Whip into serving bowls or glasses in a swirling motion. If you don’t have a piping bag, a zip-top bag with a corner snipped off will work in a pinch!
5. If desired, top each serving with a dollop of whipped cream for an extra indulgent treat.
Variations & Tips:
– For those with a more adventurous palate, mix in a little coconut extract or blend with a handful of shredded coconut for a tropical twist.
– You can lighten this recipe up even more by using a frozen banana in place of the whipped cream, blending it with the other ingredients for creaminess without the dairy.
– For those with a super sweet tooth, drizzle a little caramel or pineapple syrup over the top just before serving.
– Remember, the key to a perfect consistency is using frozen pineapple chunks rather than fresh or canned. It’s what gives the whip its signature texture.
– As for storing, this treat is best enjoyed immediately, but if you must save some for later, put it in the freezer and give it a quick blend before serving again to revive that creamy dreaminess.

Whether it’s a trip down memory lane or just the need for a sweet, light dessert, this homemade Pineapple Whip is just the ticket to add a sprinkle of joy to your day. Enjoy, and don’t forget to make a little extra—everyone’s going to want seconds!
