After giving an old guy in need his last two dollars at the gas station store, homeless and penniless Brandon the following day inherits the man’s business. Even though Brandon sees this as his family’s fresh start, a formidable adversary plans to ruin their plans.
As he trudged into the convenience shop, Brandon clenched his paper cup filled with spare coins. A loud voice interrupted him while he was standing near an aisle. A group of irate customers were lined up behind a senile old guy, and he strained his neck to see them.
I apologize, but what did you say about the water being funny? The old guy wanted to know from the cashier.
“Money!” she moaned. “I warned you about your lack of funds, sir!”
It was a bright day!” the man said, his face contorted in a grimace.

“More money is required! As for the sea! A younger man stood behind the man and roared into his ears before grabbing his shoulder, making him cringe.
Everything was picked up by Brandon. He wanted to intervene, but he was afraid the customers would become angry if he did. A smaller bottle of water would be perfect for the old guy, who needed to take his medications but didn’t have enough money to buy a larger one.
“Go!” they said, “if you can’t afford to pay!” The cashier gave a yell.
“May I go?” With a smirk on his face, he started to depart, but the cashier made a daring grab for the water bottle, snatching it from his grasp. She yelled, “Just go!” at the elderly guy. “You’re absolutely a nuisance!”
