GOODBYE LEGEND The beloved star has died, leaving the world in shock

Those who cherished Rob Burrow gathered in solemnity at a farewell reception, marking the poignant conclusion of a remarkable life.

 

The illustrious Leeds Rhinos and England rugby icon succumbed to his prolonged struggle with motor neurone disease (MND) on June 2, leaving the world at the tender age of 41.

In early June, multitudes assembled to bid farewell to the revered Rugby League star.

 

 

A commemorative civic ceremony was subsequently convened at Leeds Civic Hall to celebrate Rob’s illustrious life and indelible contributions.

Rob’s family, accompanied by approximately 180 attendees, graced the event, which was orchestrated by Abigail Marshall Katung, the Lord Mayor of Leeds.

Among the esteemed guests were Jamie Jones-Buchanan, a former teammate, Tanya Curry, CEO of the MND Association, and James Lewis, leader of Leeds City Council.
