Had a few requests for the gifts I made last year. Easy peasy on the stove. Gonna do a repeat.

Ingredients:
– 2 cups walnuts
– ½ cup granulated sugar
– 2 tablespoon unsalted butter
– 1/2 cup water
– 3 tablespoons brown sugar
– ¼ teaspoon salt
– Dash of cinnamon (optional)
Instructions:
1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a medium-sized skillet, add the walnuts, sugars, butter, water, and cinnamon (optional).
3. Cook over high heat, stirring constantly until the sugar has melted and turned into a caramel-like coating. This process should take about 5 minutes.
4. Transfer the coated walnuts onto the prepared baking sheet, spreading them out in a single layer. Let everything cool. Once ready, break apart and enjoy!
Store the quick candied walnuts in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two weeks. But trust me, they won’t last that long!

With just a handful of ingredients and minimal effort, you can create a treat that will satisfy your sweet tooth and impress your friends and family. Whether it’s for a special occasion or a simple indulgence, these quick candied walnuts are guaranteed to become a crowd favorite. So go ahead, save this recipe and experience the delight that comes with creating and savoring these addictive sweet treats.
