Corey Comperatore, the man that lost his life at the Trump rally. He was a father and former fire chief

Tragically, Corey Comperatore, a 50-year-old former volunteer fire chief from Pennsylvania, was killed during a Trump rally in Pennsylvania. Attempting to protect his daughter from a sniper’s bullet, he tragically lost his life during the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump.

“The PA Trump Rally claimed the life of my brother, Corey Comperatore…,” Dawn Comperatore Schafer wrote on Facebook, sharing the tragic news with her family. “Love knows no bounds, and hatred knows no limits.” “He protected my body from the bullet that was aimed at us,” his daughter Allyson wrote. His family was his world. His love for us was so great that he was willing to take a bullet for us.

Yesterday… became a nightmare for our family,” Corey’s wife Helen said, expressing her sorrow. It is unbearable that my darling daughters were witnesses to this. The hero he had always been died inside him. The tragedy that befell the family shows how limitless a father’s love is and how pointless violent acts are.

Those lucky enough to have known and loved Corey will always remember his courage and his devotion to his loved ones. We shall never forget his awful demise.
