Ingredients:
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

½ teaspoon baking soda

¼ teaspoon salt

½ cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

½ cup sour cream

4 ounces cream cheese at room temperature

1 cup fresh cranberries or thawed frozen cranberries patted dry

*optional* half a c chopped nuts (if desired)

Glaze (optional):

*optional* up to two table spoons milk or cream

 

Instructions:
Set your oven to 350°F (175°C), and grease and flour a loaf pan measuring 9×5 inches.

In a separate medium bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, combine sugar and butter until the mixture is fluffy and light.

Beat in vanilla extract along with one egg at a time.

Remember just mix in the sour cream well as best as you can without overdoing it.

Finally, add the cream cheese and beat it until it is soft.

Afterwards, put the wet ingredients to the dry ones little by little while stirring gently until they combine.Rember not to mix too much.
