Introduction

Ingredients
2 1/2 cups of pastry flour
1 1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
1 cup whole milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
6 large egg whites at room temperature
a quarter teaspoon cream of tartar
Instructions
Put the oven on: Turn your oven to 350°F (175°C). Butter and flour two pans of 9 inch round cakes.
Dry stuffs: Put the cake flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a big mixing bowl.
Butter and milk it please: Mix softened butter and 3/4 cup of milk to the dry ingredients. Beat at medium speed until smooth and creamy for about 2-3 minutes.
Adding Whites of Eggs: Whisk the rest of the milk, vanilla extract, egg whites, cream of tartar in another bowl. Gradually pour this mixture into batter while beating with low speed until combined.
Bake It: Divide batter evenly between prepared cake pans. Bake it for around twenty five or thirty minutes or till when a toothpick comes out clean from center.
Cooling down procedure: Let these cakes cool right inside their pans for about ten minutes before removing them from them onto wire racks to completely cool prior to frosting.
