Though a compendium of the stores earmarked for closure remains undisclosed, the CEO intimated that underperforming establishments will be the primary targets.

Since 2018, nearly 200 venues have undergone revitalization, and data indicates that these refurbished locations have eclipsed the performance of their non-renovated counterparts.

The company aims to concentrate its efforts on pivotal markets, especially those where the brand enjoys substantial density, commands a formidable market position, or operates highly successful stores.

Stop & Shop’s presence is predominantly anchored in the Northeast, with establishments in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey.

Please disseminate whether a Stop & Shop closure might impact your locality!
