Slow Cooker Amish Creamy Beef and Noodles!!!

There’s something timeless about Amish comfort food—it’s simple, hearty, and made to fill both the stomach and the soul. This Slow Cooker Amish Creamy Beef and Noodles brings together tender beef, rich gravy, and comforting egg noodles, all in one dish. It’s the kind of meal that tastes like it’s been passed down through generations, perfect for chilly evenings or when you want something that feels like a warm hug in a bowl.

Ingredients:
2 lbs beef stew meat (or chuck roast, cut into chunks)

1 medium onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 packet onion soup mix (or 1 tbsp dried onion flakes + beef bouillon cube)

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

4 cups beef broth

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp dried parsley

Salt & pepper, to taste

12 oz egg noodles (wide Amish-style if possible)

1 cup sour cream

Instructions:
Layer in the slow cooker – Place beef chunks in the bottom, then add onion and garlic. Sprinkle soup mix over the top.

Add soups & broth – Stir in cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, beef broth, Worcestershire, parsley, salt, and pepper.

Cook low and slow – Cover and cook on Low for 7–8 hours or High for 4–5 hours, until beef is tender and easily shredded.

Add noodles – About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the uncooked egg noodles. Cover and let them cook until tender (you may need to add up to 1 extra cup broth if it thickens too much).

Make it creamy – Stir in sour cream just before serving.

Serve – Ladle into bowls and enjoy with warm bread or Amish-style dinner rolls.

✨ Note: This dish gets even better the next day as the flavors soak into the noodles.
