These easy, no-bake treats use the slow cooker to melt the white chocolate, which is then mixed with nuts, coconut, and rice cereal to create crunchy, festive clusters.
Slow Cooker Snowballs
Ingredients:
INGREDIENTS AMOUNT
White chocolate chips 2 bags (12 oz)
Slivered almonds 1 cup
Shredded coconut 1/1/2 cups
Rice Krispie cereal 1/1/2 cups
How To Make Slow Cooker Snowballs:
Step 1: Melt Chocolate: Add the 2 bags of white chocolate chips to the slow cooker and turn the cooker on LOW. Cook for 30 minutes, then stir and continue cooking for another 15-20 minutes, or until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
Step 2: Mix Ingredients: Mix in 1 cup slivered almonds, 1 1/2 cups shredded coconut, and 1 1/2 cups rice krispie cereal. Stir until all the dry ingredients are fully coated in the white chocolate.
Step 3: Scoop Clusters: Leave the slow cooker on LOW as you start the scooping process to keep the chocolate in a melted state. Use a greased cookie scoop to scoop the mixture onto a parchment lined baking sheet or large cutting board.
Step 4: Cool and Store: Allow the snowballs to fully cool and set (you can place them in the refrigerator to speed this up). Once set, store them in an airtight container.
