This is a ‘never fail’ recipe passed down for generations in my family, and I swear by it every time I need my fix

Ingredients:
– 1½ cups all-purpose flour
– 1 slightly beaten egg
– 1½ teaspoon baking powder
– ½ teaspoon salt
– ½ cup milk
Instructions:
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients. Mix well.
2. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead gently for a minute or two until the dough is smooth and elastic. Roll out the dough to a 1/4 inch thickness and cut into small squares or desired shapes.
3. Carefully drop the dumplings into your simmering stew or soup, making sure they are fully submerged. Cover the pot and let the dumplings cook for 15-20 minutes, or until they are light and fluffy.

4. Serve the dumplings hot, ladled over your favorite stew or soup. Enjoy the heartwarming taste and comforting texture that will surely satisfy even the pickiest of eaters.
