These indulgent bites offer a delightful combination of salty, sweet, and crunchy flavors. The buttery crackers, rich caramel sauce, and melty chocolate create a truly irresistible treat.

 

Ingredients:
For the Base:

Saltine Crackers 1 sleeve
For the Salted Caramel Sauce:

Granulated Sugar 1 cup
Unsalted Butter (cubed) 1/2 cup
Heavy Cream 1/4 cup
Sea Salt 1/2 teaspoon (adjust to taste)
Vanilla Extract 1/2 teaspoon
For Topping:

Semisweet Chocolate Chips 1 cup
Sea Salt 1/2 teaspoon
Instructions:
Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Make salted caramel sauce: In a saucepan over medium heat, melt sugar, stirring constantly. Add butter and stir until incorporated. Slowly pour in heavy cream, stirring. Boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in sea salt and vanilla extract.
Arrange crackers: Arrange saltine crackers in a single layer on prepared baking sheet.
Pour caramel sauce: Pour salted caramel sauce over crackers, spreading evenly.
Bake: Bake for 5-7 minutes, or until caramel is bubbling and crackers are golden brown around the edges.
Melt chocolate: Remove crackers from oven and sprinkle with semisweet chocolate chips. Let chocolate melt for a few minutes.
Spread chocolate: Spread melted chocolate evenly over crackers.
Add finishing touch: Sprinkle with sea salt.
Cool: Let crackers cool completely before breaking into pieces.
