Christmas Breakfast Casserole

Prepare this delicious Christmas Breakfast Casserole the night before; all you have to do is pop it in the oven to bake, and you can go right back to the excitement of Christmas morning!

What You Need

(for 6 Servings)
ground sausage, one pound
Mustard powder, 1 teaspoon
1/3 teaspoon of kosher salt
whisked eggs, four big ones
2-quarts of full-fat milk
Toasted and cubed white bread, six pieces
shredded mild Cheddar cheese, measuring 1 cup
The Best Way to Prepare a Christmas Morning Casserole
In a medium-sized frying pan, crumble the sausage.
Drain after browning evenly over medium heat.
Combine the milk, eggs, salt, mustard powder, and mustard in a medium bowl.
Combine the sausage, bread pieces, and cheese in a bowl and mix until everything is coated.
Transfer to an oiled 9×13 inch baking dish.
Put in the fridge for at least 8 hours, preferably overnight, covered.
